My client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to lead the development of their in-house Civil Engineering Department. Reporting directly to the company founder, this role offers the opportunity to shape the department and eventually manage a talented Design team.. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Associates within the Structures team. Coordinate with architectural and building services teams. Serve as a client-facing representative, acting as the daily point of contact. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Ideally chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). Strong experience in: Below ground drainage Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) Producing drainage strategies Proven ability to contribute to fee proposals, tender submissions, and project interviews. Solid understanding of commercial and buildability requirements . Experience mentoring and supporting team members.
